Newsletter Submission Guidelines
To ensure your content is included in the upcoming newsletter, please adhere to the following instructions:

Content Types: We encourage you to submit 1-2 pieces of any of the following types of content:

Upcoming events: Please include event details such as date, time, location, and a brief description. If there are any registration or participation requirements, kindly mention those as well.

Volunteer opportunities: Provide information on volunteer initiatives, including the nature of the opportunity, time commitment, and any necessary qualifications.

Success stories: Share inspiring anecdotes about the impact your projects have made, highlighting individuals or groups who have benefited from your organization’s efforts.

Fundraising campaigns: If you have any ongoing or upcoming fundraising campaigns, please include relevant details, goals, and how individuals can contribute.

Special announcements: Any significant updates or milestones reached by your department or program that you believe should be shared with the entire non-profit community.

Submission Deadline: To allow sufficient time for compiling and organizing the newsletter, we kindly request that you submit your content by the end of day on the Thursday before the first Monday of each month. For example, for the upcoming September newsletter, please submit your content by Thursday, August 31st.

Initial Reminder: You will receive an email reminder ten (10) days before the newsletter goes out, serving as a gentle nudge to finalize your content preparations.

Final Call: A last reminder email will be sent on the Thursday before the first Monday of each month to ensure that everyone has ample time to submit their content.

Format and Submission Method: To streamline the content collection process, please submit your updates via email. You can reply to this email directly and attach any relevant documents, images, or links. In the subject line, please mention “FOTP Newsletter Content Submission – [Your Organization/Individual Name].”

Additional Details: Please ensure all content is concise, engaging, and proofread for grammatical errors. If you have any images or multimedia files to accompany your submission, please attach them as separate files (in widely accepted formats such as JPG, PNG, or PDF).

The Right to Edit: It is essential to retain the right to curate and/or edit the content to align with the overall voice and style of the newsletter, and ensure clarity and brevity, provided the meaning of the content is not materially altered. Due to the varying quality and length of submissions we receive, we need to exercise this right to maintain a successful newsletter campaign.
