On
Saturday July 11 both St. Ferdinand Shrine and Florissant
Old Town Partners are hosting their annual Mark Twain Days.
The day will be filled with many activities including a Flea
Market and Farmers Market and a Basket Raffle hosted by Florissant
Old Town Partners. Raffle Tickets will be available prior
to July 11 at Old Town Businesses. St. Ferdinand Shrine will
be having a visit from Mark Twain, a used book sale, Living
History Reenactors, bread from the outdoor bread oven, food,
tours of the Shrine. You can become a part of the day by registering
for a booth at the Flea Market open from 8:30am-1pm. or by
donating books to St. Ferdinand Shrine.
Spaces for the Flea Market are 10x10 and the cost is $10.00.
The sale will be held at the Knights of Columbus Grounds under
the Pavilion. You will need to supply your own tables. Call

St.
Ferdinand Shrine is looking for used books for this sale.
All benefits will go towards the upkeep of the Shrine. If
you have any books that you can donate please bring them to
the Shrine. You can deposit the books on the porch of the
Rectory on the Shrine grounds. The Rectory is the building
between the Schoolhouse and the Church.
Mark
your calendar for this first time event on Saturday July 11th
beginning at 8:30am. Shops on rue St. Francois will be open
for their usual Saturday hours. So visit Mark Twain Days and
then visit the nearby shops.
